Social Responsiblity

Audi assumes social responsibility at its sites and supports education, sports and culture as well as charitable foundations and volunteering.
The “Audi volunteers” format helps employees with their corporate citizenship. This includes the Audi Volunteer Day and special campaigns like the “Team Spirit Initiative”, in which employees apply for donations from the company on behalf of “their” associations. The annual Christmas appeal, other donations throughout the year, as well as disaster relief efforts in Germany and abroad, have been a part of the corporate culture for years. Furthermore, social institutions at the production sites are supported with adequate help.

Audi has been involved in cultural arts for more than 50 years: The desire to foster and support culture originated in 1962, when employees initiated the founding of the Audi Philharmonic Wind Orchestra. The cultural program Audi ArtExperience now includes various priorities, from the program’s own formats like the Audi Summer Concerts and the Audi Youth Choir Academy to sponsorship of high-caliber cultural institutions like the Salzburg Festival. Culture at Audi stands for the dialog with artists and creative minds from the fields of music, design and visual arts as well as film and theater. This self-image is lived individually at all Audi sites.
