The customer pays the standard natural gas price. With this deal, Audi is reducing the CO2 emissions of the g-tron fleet when running on gas by 80 percent**.     Alternatives for the midsize category: Audi A4 and A5 now available to order as g-tron

    Audi is offering its customers two sustainable alternatives in the midsize category: the new A4 Avant g-tron and the new A5 Sportback g-tron. Both models are powered by a bivalent 2.0 TFSI engine developing 170 hp. Like the A3 Sportback g-tron that is already on the market, they can run on a choice of the climate-friendly fuel Audi e-gas, conventional CNG (compressed natural gas) or gasoline. Customers can now order both models from dealers.     New Audi e-gas offer as standard: 80 percent lower CO2 emissions

    Audi is presenting a very sustainable offer: The automaker is now offering customers climate-friendly Audi e-gas to power the A3 Sportback g-tron* – the fuel offer is included as standard and customers will pay only the regular natural gas price. With this deal, Audi is reducing the CO2 emissions of the g-tron fleet when running on gas by 80 percent**. Early this summer Audi will further expand its product range with two new models – the A4 Avant g-tron* and the A5 Sportback g-tron*, and the e-gas offer as standard applies to both models.

    Audi has gained a wealth of experience from the 1.4 million kilometers (869,919.7 mi) covered as part of the Electric Mobility Showcase.     The Audi e-tron

    Audi presents the highlight of the IAA 2009: the e-tron, a high-performance sports car with a purely electric drive system. Four motors – two each at the front and rear axles – drive the wheels, making the concept car a true quattro. Producing 230 kW (313 hp) and 4,500 Nm (3,319.03 lb-ft) of torque, the two-seater accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 – 62.14 mph) in 4.8 seconds, and from 60 to 120 km/h (37.28 – 74.56 mph) in 4.1 seconds. The lithium-ion battery provides a truly useable energy content of 42.4 kilowatt hours to enable a range of approximately 248 kilometers.
