Researchers produce first Audi “e-benzin”

Audi’s involvement in the development of sustainable, CO2-based fuels – Audi e-fuels – is without parallel. Audi is demonstrating today that it is possible to produce petroleum-independent fuels that bind as much CO2 during their production as is emitted when they are combusted. The result is a closed CO2 cycle – a foundation for sustainable mobility with uncompromising range.
