Audi has secured important production capacities for its ongoing growth with the plant in Brussels.

With the intention of further developing the Brussels plant into one of the most efficient facilities in the Volkswagen Group, Audi has optimized the entire production process in accordance with the Audi Production System (APS). Closely involving external suppliers and service providers with production improves the process chains. Short throughput times in production, low inventories and a high proportion of added value are the objectives for the restructuring process.

The Audi Production System, which features group work and a process of continuous improvement, plays an important role in efficient production and has already been successfully implemented in Ingolstadt, Neckarsulm and Győr.

About 40 Audi A1 cars are produced by Audi Brussels every hour – providing optimal support for the brand’s dynamic growth.
