The Audi Forum Neckarsulm has had a successful 2016: With more than 230,000 guests during the year, the number of visitors since it was opened in 2005 climbed to more than 2.4 million. Visitors can experience the history of the Neckarsulm site at the Tradition exhibition at the Audi Forum. It is the place where up to 150 customers pick up their new Audi each day. The Audi exclusive studio offers a wide range of possibilities for automobile customization and individualization.
The brand and experience world offers a diverse framework for readings, concerts, meetings and conferences – from classical to pop. In 2016, 13 cultural events were held at the Audi Forum. Particular highlights were the tenth “Oldie Night”, the successful launch of the new “After-Work meets…” events and the reading by Udo Wachtveitl. The performance of jazz singer Lisa Bassenge and the annual Christmas concert rounded off the program.
With “Audi young and fun,” a great fun and edutainment program has been offered for children and teenagers since 2012. In addition, 19 children's events were held in 2016, including the state championship of the “Formula 1 at school” student competition and “The three ???“ special, a Halloween audio drama with audience participation.
In 2016, approx. 38,000 visitors and approx. 30,000 customers who were picking up their new cars took part in a discovery tour of the plant. A visit also has a lot to offer on the culinary side: The restaurant Nuvolari provides an inviting and relaxing setting for meals. Guests value its stylish, modern and sophisticated ambiance; the restaurant opens on the outside to the piazza and on the inside to the Forum.
Back where it all began – at Audi’s Neckarsulm site. The Audi 100 clinched five “Golden Steering Wheel” awards, two “Car of the Year” titles and one “World Car of the Year” award for the brand with the four rings. The company is showing 12 Audi 100 vehicles in an exhibition that looks back at the eventful history of the model that began production in Neckarsulm. The classic car exhibition “From zero to 100” featuring Audi’s successful model is open until March 2017.
